We started our work at royalhabit.com in an absolutely new way. To properly explore the promise of the future website, we had a detailed interview with the company's founder Maria Zemlyanichkina, and even visited several exhibitions of fine art, the Hermitage (our world famous museum) included. The emotions we exercised during the preparation period inspired us to create something that is more than just a website!
Maria's parents founded the company «Fireplaces of Petersburg» more than 30 years ago. At that time they had already had extensive experience in restoration work with stone, architecture and construction. Working with her parents Maria founded a jewellery company, and decided to combine several unique brands in terms of taste and quality and create a platform of a beautiful life, that is Royal Habit.
Against the background of the home page we positioned a fireplace: the warmth and comfort of each home. There is also integrated a small interface for a visitor to choose his profile, and from that profile he can choose an elaborate fireplace for himself.
We worked out the style of the website and its colour palette in detail. As you might have guessed, the aim of the project is to introduce a visitor into the world of beauty, art, and creative inspiration. The branded fireplaces, home interiors as well as photographs we had made at the exhibitions became the elements of our design.
We were overwhelmed with new ideas, which you can see for yourselves when looking through each page of Royal Habit. Trying to avoid repetition in maintaining the general architectural tendency of the website we made the design of every page unique.
Royal Habit is one of the few projects that encouraged us to use almost all the features of the IQSites designer: most of the available effects, the background and texts, capture forms and many more things. As usual, we could not help using spectacular design solutions.
It was a fantastic experience that gave us some ideas re upgrading the landing page constructor. Yes, we mean what we say, so in the nearest future there will be some new features we don't want to disclose now. (;
